As a process of third-party certification for products, processes, systems or personnel, CCIC Chicago Inc. is committed to help customers to confirm that their products and services are in compliance with relevant country’s standards and regulatory requirements. In April 2002, in order to comply with WTO requirements, eliminate technical barriers, and serve economy and trade, 6 organizations including China Import and Export Quality Certification Center and China Commission for Conformity Certification of Electrical Equipment (CCEE) Secretariat, were reorganized and merged into China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). In 2007, China Certification and Inspection Group (CCIC) carried out reorganization and reform with the original CQC and established a new China Inspection and Certification Group (CCIC), retaining two major brands: CCIC and CQC.
CQC has established 12 products certification branches and 36 management system certification branches in China and 33 business promotion platforms at abroad, providing customers with efficient and quality multi-regional, self-reliant and diversified services. CQC has joined 15 international (certification) organizations and established the cooperation with 49 certification bodies in 24 countries to provide international certification “localized” services for global customers.
As for now, the CQC service platform under CCIC has established cooperative relations with certification agencies in many countries and regions, and provides CCC, CB, CE, PSE, Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (export to Saudi Arabia), GC-mark, US EPA Energy Star, Oman Energy Efficiency Labeling and other certification services for US companies to export products to countries like China, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Relying on the CQC’s service platform, CCIC Chicago Inc., as the cooperation and operation partner of CQC in the United States, adheres to the concept of better providing customers with “one-stop service”, is committed to providing economical and convenient international certification services and consulting services for American customers. The service including CCC certification, PSE certification, CQC mark certification, Energy Star certification, low-carbon certification and verification etc.
