Tax Commission Announcement [2021] No. 5

On 5/17/2021, The Tariff Commission of the State Council announced the list of the “Fourth Exclusion and Extension of Tariffs imposed on the United States and Canada”, in this announcement, it stated that it would extend the exclusion period for the 79 items which were included in the previous tax commission announcement [2020] No. 4. From May 19^th, 2021 to December 25^th, 2021, the tariffs imposed by China to counter the US 301 measures will continue to be excluded.

The list covers a wide range of products and goods, total of 79 items, mainly covering the fifth category of mineral products, some of the sixth category of chemicals, the eleventh category of textiles, and the thirteenth category of ceramic glass products, the fifteenth category of base metal products, and the sixteenth category of electrical equipment, etc.
