Decree No. 249 of the General Administration of Customs (Decree on the issuance of the “Measures for the Administration of Import and Export Food Safety of the People’s Republic of China”) published by GACC on April 12th, 2021.

The “Measures for the Administration of Import and Export Food Safety of the People’s Republic of China”, which was reviewed and approved at the executive meeting of the General Administration of Customs on March 12, 2021, are hereby promulgated and will be implemented on January 1, 2022. The original “Import and Export Food Safety Management Measures”, “Export Honey Inspection and Quarantine Management Measures”, “Import and Export Aquatic Products Inspection and Quarantine Supervision and Administration Measures”, “Import and Export Meat Products Inspection and Quarantine Supervision and Administration Measures”, “Import and Export Dairy Products Inspection and Quarantine Supervision”, “The Administrative Measures and the Regulations on the Administration of Filing of Exported Food Production Enterprises” shall be repealed at the same time.
