In accordance with Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, Revised at the 14th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People’s Congress on April 24, 2015
Article 76 and Article 77 clearly stipulate the recorded and registration management of health foods to be imported into the Chinese market.
The foreign manufacturers exporting dietary supplements to China should apply to the State Market Supervision Administration for the filing or registration of dietary supplement imports to obtain a certificate of registration; Meanwhile, oversea companies shall have a permanent Chinese representative office or appoint a Chinese agent to deal with registration or filing and obtain such certificates.
